Analyst (Retail Maintenance, Retail Sourcing, Business Analyst)
JOB FUNCTION AND DUTIES
1. Analyze supply chain processes and provide recommended courses of action for improvement.
2. Provide analysis and information that is used by the government customer in retail maintenance and sourcing decisions.
3. Apply knowledge of laws, policies, regulations and precedents applicable to logistics planning and program execution/sustainment.
4. Develop recommendations for changes to Marine Corps policy.
5. Develop briefings, documents, summaries and other communications related to improvement of SECREP supply chain processes.
6. Develop responses to data calls in support of government customer requirements.
7. Any additional items that are typical of or related to the work of a CSM Principal Analyst.
EXPERIENCE, CAPABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS
1. Minimum of three to five (3-5) years working with Military wholesale and retail logistics activities in Reparable/Consumable support.
2. Minimum of three to five (3-5) years in management of Ground Equipment Secondary Items.
3. Minimum of three to five (3-5) years planning and executing in Metrics Management, SECREP sourcing, Source of Repair processes; and SECREP Wholesale Pricing.
4. Minimum of one to two (1-2) years of performance management framework for evaluating the effectiveness of Products & Services
Capabilities:
1. Apply relative knowledge to analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize and apply solutions
2. Plan and organize work to successfully perform complex tasks
3. Effectively and efficiently communicate, written and orally, to personnel at various status and rank
4. Apply knowledge of the administrative processes and documentation requirements to logistics program execution and sustainment
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of a four (4) year course of study in a relevant field leading to a bachelor’s degree, or a combination of successfully completed post-high school education and/or training experiences that meet the total qualification requirements for this position level
2. Ability to obtain SECRET Level Security Clearance by Day 1 Ready (Retail Maintenance Analyst and Business Analyst)
